Frequently asked questions.
What is TeamMonitro?+
TeamMonitro is a workforce management platform that brings employee monitoring, call tracking, lead CRM, attendance, and payroll together in one dashboard.
What devices are supported?+
TeamMonitro's employee monitoring app is available for Windows. An Android app is available for call tracking and lead management. Support for additional platforms, including Mac, is currently unconfirmed.
Can I view an employee's screen live?+
Yes. Admins with the right permissions can view an employee's live screen on demand from the dashboard.
How do screenshots work, and how often are they taken?+
Screenshots are captured automatically at a configurable interval — as frequently as every 15 seconds — and uploaded to the dashboard.
How does idle detection work?+
TeamMonitro automatically detects when a session has gone idle, so reported working time reflects actual activity.
What happens if an employee loses internet connection?+
Activity keeps recording locally while offline, then syncs automatically once the connection is restored.
How does call tracking work?+
Calls made and received through the Android app are logged automatically into a searchable, filterable call log.
Does TeamMonitro include a CRM?+
Yes. Leads can be created directly from call logs and managed through list or Kanban pipeline views, with follow-up reminders.
How is attendance tracked?+
Attendance is based on shift rules and punch in/out activity, with approved leave reflected automatically — no manual timesheets.
Does TeamMonitro handle payroll?+
Yes. TeamMonitro supports India-ready payroll, including salary structures, CTC, HRA, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and LOP, with payslip generation.
Is employee consent required for monitoring?+
TeamMonitro is designed for company-owned devices and employee-consented monitoring. Monitoring requirements may vary by country and applicable law — check what applies in your jurisdiction before enabling monitoring.
What permissions does the app need?+
The desktop app requests the permissions its monitoring features depend on during setup; monitoring capabilities are permission-gated.
